While he pushes the limits of the music video format technically by being the only director who edits his footage on set, his greatest legacy may very well be the crucial role that he has played in shaping and molding the images of HipHop, pop, and rock culture into something that continues to grow and morph.
Fifteen years after his 40 buck job, Kahn has evolved and has built a notable resume which not only includes music videos and several TV commercials, but also a sleek action movie, Torque, which was released last year. His feature directorial debut has put Kahn in high demand to direct other films. |

Never one to act without thoroughly thinking things through, he's biding his time to find the right project that will best suit his style of imagery.
The mark that Kahn's work has indelibly burned into pop culture and the public consciousness in an industry where over exposure and putting the cart before the horse is the modus operandi of 99% of its players, is largely due to Kahn's patience and dedication to his craft. "This [business] is a marathon, not a sprint," Kahn says with a look of certainty. And we all know marathons are usually won by the smart, not the swift.
